Industrial Software Developer

We are looking for a person with learning capabilities and a wide range of skills for our exciting and hands-on projects. Vaisto is located in Tampere, and we help our clients around the globe to succeed in their business. We have been working with intelligent machines, software, and AI for quite some time, and this project includes all of them. So this task is pretty cool.

Your main responsibilities

You'll be working with projects that include software development and robotics. You'll focus on the software development side that includes the front- and back-end development and on-site testing of the products. There will also be some tasks in device control and automation-related subjects. The technologies we're interested in include at least the following:

• C# combined with some web technologies such as Angular or React
• General interest in PLC software and robotics
• Prior experience from cloud technologies, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is considered a plus.

We don’t have strict restrictions on your background, but we expect you to have experience in the software development business. Two paths can lead you to this job:

• either you’re a gifted developer who wants to learn and get your hands dirty in robotics, or
• your background is from moving machinery & robotics and you’d like to deepen your knowledge in software development.
